Sunday School
Held during the 10:30 am service: Ages 2-12.


St. Alban's Nursery Program
Pre-school education in respected English program based in Montessori methods and Christian concern for all children. Classes Tuesday-Thursday or Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Class size 15 students. Superintendent: Gilma Yamamoto.


Outreach Ministry
10% of St. Alban’s income is used for outreach support of programs including Asian Rural Institute (leadership training for people from developing countries), and TELL (Tokyo English Lifeline). Community action participation includes twice a month Rice Patrol (making o-nigiri rice balls for Tokyo's homeless).


Choir
Sings during the 10:30 am Eucharist service under the direction of Music Director Steven Morgan, from September to June. Weekly 7:30-9:00pm practice on Thursdays and before the Sunday service. New members are always welcome!


Book Group

Date Usually a Friday evening, about once a month
Time 7:30pm - whenever
Location The Aves' house

The St. Alban's book group meets monthly for fellowship, dinner, and discussion of a pre-selected book. The choices include anything from detective stories and travel books to books with religious themes. Dinner usually consists of a bowl of pasta with a vegetarian sauce and whatever else the participants bring along.

Adult Christian Education
Ongoing Bible study and spiritual discussion groups; baptism and confirmation preparation courses.


Healing Prayer Ministry
Provides the laying on of hands and anointing with oil immediately after the 10:30 am Sunday service for those who desire healing of body, mind, or spirit. 


Worship servers
Altar Guild (Coordinator: Nicola Sawaki
), Lay Readers, Acolytes, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Intercessors. Scheduling Coordinator: Thomas Cartey


NSKK (Nippon Seikokai, the Anglican Church in Japan)
Liaison with other parishes, participation in programs and working groups in the Diocese of Tokyo, Diocesan Synod representation and language support to enable clergy program participation. Contact Simon Clay if you want to know more or are willing to help on occasional but important J-E translation tasks.
